Product Sketching

Product Sketching is a swift way of displaying the paper work before presenting it to the system work. It is also used as a source of communication in industrial designing. This module will cover the following topics:

Clay Modelling

Since the computer models are not sufficient to evaluate the design, Clay/Scaled models are used to create an impression of the final product. Reverse Engineering

Reverse engineering is taking an object discretely to analyze its mechanism in order to re-form or improve the object. Reverse engineering of mechanical parts includes procuring three-dimensional position data in the point cloud using laser scanners or computed tomography (CT). In this course, you will learn how to use CATIA- DSE, QSR software. Main topics covered under this course are:

Computational Fluid Analysis (CFD)

This course will educate the students about the usage of liquid and gas flow with heat transfer, external and internal fluid flows, laminar, turbulent and transitional flows, time dependent flow, subsonic, transonic and supersonic regimes, gas mixture and liquid mixture, conjugate heat transfer, heat transfer in solids.
